Mid Western University, Glendale AZ

With more than 30 buildings within its 156 acre campus, Mid Western University offers the best in student educations and services. That’s why they have contracted with WSS to provide key buildings with Cellular and Public Safety DAS. For efficiency and cost savings, WSS designed a DAS using one head-end, and connecting the selected buildings throughout the campus with fiber-optics. This solution is expandable and meets the wireless carriers stringent demands for low-noise, and minimal active equipment. The unique approach was an industry first in 2012, to what is now an industry standard.

Public safety is a focal point for MWU, to insure student and staff safety, but also the safety of First Responders. The DAS continues to expand as new buildings are constructed.
